HIGH RIVER, AB: Work on the Centre Street Utilities Relocation Project will move northward starting the week of July 13.
Crews will be working within the former CP lands, south of 7th Avenue SE and adjacent to 609 Centre Street, for approximately a week. Customers of businesses located in 701 Centre Street may park in unoccupied areas within the former CP lands during this time.
The Town has requested utility companies relocate their existing overhead power lines to run underground on the former CP lands, now owned by the Town. The Centre Street Utilities Relocation Project will extend from 10th Avenue SE in the south to Macleod Trail in the north. It is estimated the work will take seven weeks to complete.
