Bringing Youth Together to Make a Difference

This is a group with youth and for youth. Members of the Youth Advisory Committee share their priorities, help to make change in the community and advocate for youth in High River.

Members are between the ages of 14 and 19 and focus on a variety of interests such as art, sports, music, academics, drama, gaming, writing and more.

High River provides youth with opportunities for connection and involvement through volunteerism. Adults invite youth to participate in decisions that impact them. Youth will have a strong VOICE, a sense of belonging, and empowerment in the community.

High River youth make up approximately 12% of our population and are a vital part of our community.
