High River AB – Do you need sand for your sidewalk? Come and get it at the High River Recycle Centre!
The Town is pleased to make this sand mix available during regular recycling hours. You will find the supply bin near the Leaves and Grass Bin. Look for the sign!
While this is a free service please note the following:
- Supply bin holds 3500 pounds of sand which is available on a first-come,
first-served basis - Bring your own container (under 25 kg) or 50lbs.
- Please limit your haul to one container per visit.
- Supply is for individual use only. No contractors, please.
If the supply bin has run out when you arrive, please let Town Operations staff know. If no staff are available, email We may not be able to refill it immediately but will do so as soon as possible.
Regular recycling hours are Sunday – Saturday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.(closed on Statutory holidays).
