HIGH RIVER, AB: The pool opening at the Bob Snodgrass Recreation Centre (BSRC) will be postponed from the October 19th opening date. This is to complete repairs associated with the expansion joint that joins the shallow end of the pool to the deep end with a water tight seal.
While the facility was closed as part of the COVID-19 pandemic response, the Town took the opportunity to complete the scheduled fall shut down early. This work included replacement of the expansion joint.
Allowing for additional work to complete repairs, the projected opening is now approximately mid-December.
Our staff have been very eager to re-open the pool for the community. We share your disappointment and appreciate your understanding. We are doing our best so that the pool can be enjoyed again in the near future.
