Town Facilities Temporarily Closed on Thursday, December 11, 2025 HIGH RIVER – Most Town of High River facilities will be closed all day on Thursday, December 11, 2025, to allow staff to participate in an all-staff training session. The Recycling Centre will not be available for the day; however, garbage collection will continue as normal.
All affected facilities will reopen at regular hours on Friday, December 12, 2025.
Facilities closed on December 11:
- Town Hall
- Family and Community Support Services
- Family Centre
- Public Works
- Fire and Protective Services Administration
- Recycling Centre
Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex: Open from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM and will reopen at 4:00 PM.
Please note that garbage collection and essential services—including Fire and Protective Services and the RCMP—are not affected. Always call 9-1-1 in an emergency.
