Bob Snodgrass Recreation Centre Pool Re-opens for Registered Users

High River, AB – We are happy to announce the re-opening of the Aquatics Facility in the Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex.

There will be a soft opening starting the evening of Wednesday, April 14th. This will be an opportunity for Individual Household pool rentals to get back in the water prior to starting our pre-registered programming the following week.

All users are required to pre-register online prior to attending. Watch for registration information on the Town website and on the Town’s social media channels.

Key Dates:

Tuesday, April 13th – Registration for Individual Household pool rentals running from Wednesday, April 14th – Sunday, April 18th, 2021

Wednesday, April 14th – Household rentals begin

Wednesday, April 14th – Registration open for programming

Monday, April 19th – First day of programming

Online Registration is open for programs offered April 19th – May 2nd, 2021:

  • Group swim lessons
    • *Some lessons will require active parent participation in water.
  • One-on-one adult lessons
  • one-on-one private lessons
  • Household rentals
  • Household private lessons
  • Advanced lifeguards courses, 18 & under

The Province announced a return to Step One on April 6, 2021. With Step One municipalities may offer a limited scope of recreation and aquatic programming, providing all of Alberta Health Services (AHS) rules are being implemented. See a list of the current rules here.
