Town Survey Seeks Community Views to Assist with Current and Future Budget Planning

November 6, 2020

HIGH RIVER – How do you feel about Town services like snow removal? Do you participate in Town recreational activities? How accessible do you feel downtown is? You are invited to share your thoughts for the 2021 budget by completing a Town Budget Survey.

The budget survey opens on November 6 and will ask for your opinions on many areas including Town services, Safety and Security, Responsible Development, Healthy Urban Environment, Organizational Excellence and Vibrant Community.

“We look forward to learning what is important to High River residents and businesses as we plan for 2021 and beyond,” said Mayor Craig Snodgrass. “Your thoughts and ideas will make a positive contribution to High River’s future.”

It is important that the budget allocates funds appropriately to strategic priorities, major projects, and community needs. Views expressed in the survey will assist during current budget deliberations and help with future funding decisions.
