Town conducting maintenance work in southwest High River

HIGH RIVER, AB: Final maintenance work on the Town of High River’s Main Replacement (Phase 3 and 5A) project will be taking place between April 29 and May 17, 2019. In conjunction with this work, the Town will also be performing maintenance to the interim flood protection measures along 12 Avenue and Centre Street S.W.

The main replacement work will consist of pavement sealing, concrete removals and patching along 5 Avenue S.W., 6 Avenue S.W., 1 Street S.W. and portions of Macleod Trail. This is warranty work, and is expected to be completed prior to the May long weekend.

Minor disruptions to traffic, parking and pedestrian activities may occur while all of the work is being completed. Some noise disruptions may also impact surrounding businesses and residents, but for a relatively short period of time only.

For safety reasons, please respect all construction signage and barricades while the work is taking place.

More information on construction projects happening within the community can be found on our Major Projects Map at highriver.ca.
