Aquatics Centre Closure Extended as Expansion Work Continues

(HIGH RIVER, AB): The Aquatics Centre’s current closure has been extended due to construction considerations, and it is now projected to reopen in June 2026.
It was originally planned to open one side of the newly expanded pool in mid-January 2026 while construction continued on the existing pool. Unfortunately, construction considerations have affected this timeline. As a result, the pool will remain closed until all construction is complete, and the fully renovated and expanded facility is ready to open to the public.
Recently, the Town opened registration for winter programming with a variety of dryland options. Visit the Program Guide and Registration webpage for more information.
