The Town leadership team also includes the Chief Administrative Officer and directors of Community Services, Corporate Services, and Municipal Services. Together, this team delivers on the Town’s strategic vision to make a positive difference now and for generations to come. 

Chris Prosser, Chief Administrative Officer

The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) provides leadership to the organization of approximately 200 employees and is the link between the Council and Administration. The CAO also ensures that Council has the information it needs to make sound policy decisions and support the achievement of the Council's strategic direction. The CAO works with Council and Administration to facilitate the budget process and establish and monitor Council's Strategic Priorities.

Mr. Prosser has over 24 years of experience in municipal government as a CAO and Land Use Planner, including 14 years as CAO for the District of Invermere in British Columbia. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the University of Calgary, focusing on urban studies.

The CAO works in collaboration with and receives advice and assistance from other members of the Senior Leadership Team.

Chris Bruce, Director of Community Services

The Director of Community Services provides leadership and strategic direction for Fire & Protective Services, Emergency Management, Leisure Services, Community Support Services, and Corporate Events. Working collaboratively with Council, the Chief Administrative Officer, and the Senior Leadership Team, the position supports the delivery of services and the achievement of Council's strategic priorities. 

Mr. Bruce has more than a decade of experience in municipal government, with experience in community services, municipal administration, and emergency management. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Human Resources from Nipissing University and is a Certified Asset Management Professional (CAMP).

Sonja Coleman, Director of Corporate Services

The Director of Corporate & Community Support provides leadership and strategic direction in Communications and Engagement, Financial Services, Human Resources, Information Services, and Legislative & Advisory Services.

Reiley McKerracher, Director of Municipal Services

The Director of Municipal Services oversees town functions including Engineering, Planning & Development and Public Works.

Mr. McKerracher is a Professional Engineer registered with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) with 19 years of civil engineering experience, 15 of which have been in municipal government. Reiley started with the Town of High River in 2009 and has a long history with the Town before that, having graduated from Senator Riley High School.
