Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex Fieldhouse Closure: June 20 to July 5

(HIGH RIVER, AB): From June 20 to July 5, the fieldhouse will be closed. During the closure, all regular drop-in activities held in the fieldhouse area, as well as the walking track, will not be available.
The closure is necessary to complete wall work within the facility as part of the Recreation Facility Expansion project. At the same time and to help minimize further disruptions, the main entrance washrooms are also being renovated during the closure. Patrons may use washrooms in the changeroom areas during this period.
Occasionally, the main entrance will not be accessible throughout the closure. When this happens, signs will be put in place directing patrons to the southeast doors by the large arena entrance. A reminder that only Lifemark clients can use the physiotherapy entrance to the southwest of the main entrance.
Starting next week, reception will be relocated a short distance to a temporary location in front of the construction barrier until the expansion is complete and the lobby reopens. To support this move, all drop-in activities will be free on June 15.
All regular fieldhouse drop-in activities will resume on July 6 at 6 a.m., along with the reopening of the walking track. If work takes longer than anticipated, the Town will share an update.
We understand that closures are disruptive and strive to keep impacts on regular programming as minimal as possible.
