HIGH RIVER – Cycling Without Age is back for another year in High River.

The program gives seniors and individuals with mobility challenges a chance to enjoy the outdoors from the seat of an electric-assisted trishaw bike. Riders can feel the fresh air, see familiar places, and spend time talking with others while enjoying a safe and comfortable ride.

Cycling Without Age is about more than getting from one place to another. It helps people stay connected, enjoy their community, and spend time outdoors.

Residents can book a ride for themselves or a loved one. Rides are free and are a great way to enjoy the sights and sounds of our community.

Volunteer pilots are always welcome and help make the program possible. Pilots receive training and use electric-assisted bikes to take riders on enjoyable trips around town.

As the bikes return to local pathways and roads this summer, residents are asked to share the road and help keep everyone safe.

High River joined the Cycling Without Age movement in 2017 and continues to bring people together through shared experiences and community connections.
