Heartland Filming in High River | July 31 – August 4
HIGH RIVER – The Town of High River is proud to be a film-friendly community and once again will be the preferred destination for a major production.
Filming will occur in various locations throughout the Town beginning on Monday, July 31. This production may involve short traffic disruptions over the next few days.
A list of filming and traffic disruptions can be seen below:
- Monday, July 31
- Production trucks will be parked in a vacant lot behind the Museum of the Highwood.
- Tuesday, August 1
- Filming inside Vespucci building | 111 3 Ave SW
- Filming on sidewalk | 11 3 Ave SW
- Wednesday, August 2
- Filming inside Maggie’s Diner | 123 3 Ave SW
- Filming inside Vespucci building | 111 3 Ave SW
- Thursday, August 3
- Filming on Country Road | 530 Ave SE
- Filming near the parking lot of 12 Ave & Macleod Trail
- Friday, August 4
- Filming inside Maggie’s Diner | 123 3 Ave SW
- Filming inside Vespucci building | 111 3 Ave SW
Residents are asked to keep their distance from the production and remain patient while filming occurs. Support from residents is greatly appreciated and maintains High River’s status as a preferred film destination.
The Town will continue to provide updates on film locations and temporary traffic detours as the production continues.
