How Do You Say Hello?

(High River, AB) What if making High River an even stronger community was as simple as saying hello?
This summer, the Town’s Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) division is inviting residents to take part in “How Do You Say Hello” – a campaign celebrating the small interactions that help people feel welcome, connected, and supported.
A wave to someone on your morning walk. Learning a neighbour’s name. Helping someone carry a bag or taking a few extra minutes to chat. These simple actions may seem small, but together they help create the welcoming community that makes High River a great place to live.
Throughout the campaign, residents will be encouraged to take part in a different “Hello Mission”, shared on our social media channels. Missions will focus on waving, learning names, showing kindness, and building connections.
There’s no sign-up required; just look for opportunities to connect with the people around you. Because sometimes the simplest of actions can make the biggest difference.
