Positive Ticketing kicks off Tuesday, May 19
HIGH RIVER – You've been CAUGHT… doing something good!
The Positive Ticketing Program is back this May as High River RCMP and Protective Services Peace Officers once again take to the community in search of everyday acts of kindness and positive choices from local children and youth.
Originally launched in 2019, the program has seen strong community support, with hundreds of Positive Tickets handed out each year. Tickets are awarded for actions such as wearing a bike helmet, picking up litter, helping others, volunteering, holding the door open, and practicing safe behaviours in the community.
Each Positive Ticket recognizes a simple but meaningful action and includes a small reward from a local business.
The goal of Positive Ticketing is to encourage and celebrate positive behaviour while helping build a safe, caring, and connected community for young people in High River.
Keep an eye out this summer, Positive Tickets will be handed out throughout the community by High River RCMP and Protective Services Peace Officers.
