Town Facility Closures for September Long Weekend | Monday, September 1, 2025
HIGH RIVER – Town of High River facilities will be closed on Monday, September 1, 2025, in recognition of Labour Day. Garbage collection will continue as scheduled with no changes.
Closed facilities include:
- Town Hall
- Family and Community Support Services
- Greater Foothills Family Centre
- Public Works
- Fire Hall and RCMP Administration
- Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex
All facilities will reopen under regular business hours on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.
Essential services such as the Fire Department and RCMP remain open. In case of emergency, call 9-1-1.
The Recycling Centre will also be closed on Labour Day, reopening on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, for regular hours. For more details, visit highriver.ca/recycling.
