Town in Full Bloom: New Trees Planted Across Our Community

(HIGH RIVER, AB): Tree planting for the season is complete! New Elms, Larches, Oaks, and Ohio Buckeyes are adding fresh colour and shade to neighborhoods and natural areas all across Town.
This planting is part of our ongoing efforts to replace trees that were previously removed, following our 1:1 replacement policy. It's also an important step in flood recovery, helping restore natural areas and improve stormwater management. Plus, it makes our parks and streets look beautiful and adds to the overall health of our green spaces.
Trees have been added to George Lane Memorial Park, Sheppard Family Park, and boulevards throughout Town, creating greener spaces for everyone to enjoy while strengthening our community’s natural landscape.
We’re excited to see these new trees take root!
