Draft Town Plan Public Hearing at May 27 Council Meeting

HIGH RIVER AB - A Public Hearing of the Draft Town Plan is scheduled for the May 27, 2024 meeting of Council. This Public Hearing is to provide residents and others an opportunity to bring questions and comments before Council related to the plan. The Town Plan, once approved, will guide growth and development for High River from now to 2044.

The nine goals detailed in the Draft Plan relate to:
- Fostering a small-town feel;
- Responsible growth;
- Interconnected community;
- Health and well-being, and
- Parks, recreation, and the environment.
In addition, the Draft Town Plan targets objectives related to economic diversification, safety and security, and partnerships that will contribute to achieving the overall plan vision.
