Important Changes to Holiday Garbage Collection Schedule
HIGH RIVER – Happy Holidays, High River! Here's what you need to know about important changes to the garbage collection schedule between Monday, December 23, to Friday, December 27, and on January 1, 2025. To ensure your garbage is being collected, please note the changes below.
Christmas Week 2024:
- Collection times and routes will be adjusted for the week of Monday, December 23, to Friday, December 27.
- Residents should place their bins out daily between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM until their collection is completed.
- Once the bins have been emptied, residents may bring them back in.
New Year's Day - Wednesday, January 1, 2025:
- If your garbage is usually collected on Wednesdays, please put it out on Monday, December 30 by 7:00 AM.
- All Monday and Wednesday garbage pickups will occur on Monday, December 30.
High River Recycling Centre Hours:
- Closed on Wednesday, December 25, Thursday, December 26, 2024, and Wednesday, January 1, 2025.
- Open for regular hours beginning Thursday, January 2, 2025.
