Leisure Services BSRC Facility Expansion
(HIGH RIVER, AB): The full closure of the Aquatics Centre at the Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex, including the pool area, has been extended. The facility is now scheduled to reopen in November, with a specific opening date to be shared closer to its expected completion.
The Town has received new information identifying paint issues that require lead abatement, in addition to other essential work. Addressing these items now will help prevent deterioration, ensuring the facility stands up well over time. The additional work is needed to ensure we have a safe, high-quality pool facility for everyone to use. Transparency is a key priority in all of the work we undertake. We appreciate your understanding as we complete the expansion project. The aquatics centre expansion will provide the High River community with a top-notch recreation facility that includes a colourfully lit and patterned slide, expanded sauna, whirlpool and 22 private change stalls.
