Town Launching New Financial Self-Service Portal
Citizen Self-Service to Be Retired
HIGH RIVER – The Town of High River is committed to providing residents with convenient and accessible online services. To improve the customer experience, the Town will be launching a new Financial Self-Service Portal, giving residents secure online access to their property tax, utility, and account information.
Citizen Self Service Closing Aug. 10
The Town's current Citizen Self Service system will be permanently retired as part of this transition. Resident access to Citizen Self Service will end Monday, Aug. 10, 2026, at 4 p.m.
Residents are encouraged to log in before Aug. 10 to access or print any account information.
Alternative Services During Transition
While the new portal is being implemented, some online services will be temporarily unavailable. The transition is expected to take several weeks. During this time, residents can:
- Visit Town Hall for in-person assistance,
- Email corporateservices@highriver.ca, or
- Call 403-652-2110.
Residents can also visit highriver.ca/self-service to access online forms for services including:
- Connecting or disconnecting residential utility services
- Connecting or disconnecting commercial utility services
- Updating mailing addresses or contact information
- Signing up for or changing pre-authorized payments
- Cancelling pre-authorized payments
Tax Certificates and Cemetery Records
Residents needing Tax Certificates can order and pay for certificates by calling 403-652-2110. During the transition, cemetery records will be managed through an external service. Information on cemetery plots can be found at www.findagrave.com.
Utility Billing
As a result of the system transition, utility bills may be issued later than usual in September. If delays occur, payment due dates will be extended to ensure residents have sufficient time to make their payments.
Additional Information Coming Soon
Additional information about the new Financial Self-Service Portal, including registration instructions and key features, will be shared over the coming weeks as implementation progresses.
Visit highriver.ca/self-service for updates, available services during the transition, and the latest information on the new Financial Self-Service Portal.
