Facilty and Operational Closures for Thanksgiving Day

(HIGH RIVER, AB): Town of High River facilities will be closed on Monday, Oct. 12, 2026, for Thanksgiving Day.
The first curbside recycling collection date is also Oct. 12; have your cart out by 7 a.m. There will be no adjustment to the garbage collection schedule as a result of the holiday.
The following facilities will be closed:
- Town Hall
- Family and Community Support Services (FCSS)
- Greater Foothills Family Centre
- Public Works Administration Office
- Fire & RCMP Administration Offices
- Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex
- High River Recycling Centre
Essential services, including the Fire Department and RCMP, will remain available. In an emergency, always call 9-1-1.
The Town of High River wishes everyone a safe and enjoyable long weekend.
