Major Production Returning to High River on February 14, 2023
HIGH RIVER – ‘Fargo,’ is returning to film Season 5 in our community and will cause some traffic restrictions for residents, street light outages and possible loud noises from simulated gunfire. The production will not be using blanks or live gunfire instead small pyrotechnics will give the illusion of a weapon being fire by the cast.
No Parking Restrictions
Tuesday, February 14 at 12:00 p.m. until Saturday, February 18 at 12:00p.m.
- both sides of 2 Ave SE between 2 St SE and 4 St SE
- both sides of 3 St SE between 1 Ave SE and 3 Ave SE
- South side of 1 Ave SE between 3 St SE and 4 St SE
- West side of 4 St SE between 1 Ave SE and 2 Ave SE
Road Closures
Wednesday, February 15 to Friday, February 17, daily from 12:00p.m. to 2:00 a.m.
- 2 Ave SE between 2 St SE and 4 St SE
- 3 St SE between 1 Ave SE and 3 Ave SE
Street Light Outages
Wednesday, February 15 to Friday, February 17, daily from 5:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.
- both sides of 2 Ave SE between 2 St SE and 4 St SE
- both sides of 3 St SE between 1 Ave SE and 3 Ave SE
Residents are asked to keep their distance from the production and remain patient while filming occurs. Support from residents is greatly appreciated and maintains High River's status as a preferred film destination.
The Town will update film locations and temporary traffic disruptions as the production continues.
