Community Garbage Collection Schedules
HIGH RIVER – Town of High River offices and facilities will be closed on Monday, October 9 for the Thanksgiving holiday. There are no changes to the garbage collection schedule. Town facilities re-open with normal hours on Tuesday, October 10. Emergency Services are not affected by these closures. In an emergency, always call 9-1-1.
To observe the Thanksgiving holiday, the regular meetings of Town Council are moved to Tuesday, October 10. View the agendas and live stream of the Regular Meeting here.
Note the following facility closures:
- Town Hall - Monday, October 9
- Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex - Monday, October 9
- FCSS Resource Centre - Monday, October 9
- Public Works and the Recycle Centre - Monday, October 9
- Fire Administration - Monday, October 9
- RCMP Administration - Monday, October 9 and Tuesday, October 10 from 2 pm - 4:30 pm
- The Greater Foothills Family Centre will be closed on Saturday, October 7 and Monday, October 9
