Town Facility Temporary Closure May 8 for Staff Health and Safety Training
HIGH RIVER – The Town of High River will close all facilities for a few hours on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, as staff participate in annual Health and Safety training. We place a high priority on ensuring our organization offers staff training opportunities that ultimately benefit our community.
- Emergency Services are not affected. Always call 9-1-1 in an emergency.
- Garbage collection is NOT affected. There may be delays, however. Please leave bins out until collection occurs.
- Recycling Centre will not be affected.
The following closures will be effective on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- High River’s Town Hall and Reception
- Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex will be closed. There will be no drop-ins.
- Greater Foothills Family Centre
- FCSS Resource Centre
- Public Works Administration
- Fire Hall Administration
The above facilities will re-open, and services will resume at 2:30 p.m. on May 8.
