Green Sweep
Green Sweep annual community clean-up is back! Join us on Saturday, May 2 from 9:30 a.m. to 12 noon and help make a difference in our community. Meet at the East Parking Lot of the Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex (BSRC), grab a morning coffee, get your cleanup route, and help refresh our parks and green spaces. Join us for a brown bag lunch to wrap up the morning!
As the community comes together at the BSRC, we are offering the following FREE* services on site during the event:
- Secure electronic recycling
- Secure document shredding
- Waived landfill fees from April 30 to May 2 for residents
*While the services above are free, we will be accepting donations to the FCSS Critical Needs Fund. The fund provides direct assistance to community members in need where gaps in services exist. This may include support for transportation, housing, temporary lodging, clothing, gas or food.
