On Saturday, June 6, from 10 am - 3 pm, there will be all kinds of local organizations set up at the High River & District Seniors Friendship Centre. This is a FREE event, so come by and get some good information. They will have brochures on upcoming events and/or programs for the whole community. We have some wellness groups, like yoga and mobile reflexology, and a mobile foot nurse. We also have Telus coming out to talk about the Fibre Optic Cable in Town and what discounts there are for seniors. We have different museums, Handibus, emergency services & High River Fire Dept, The Venue, Highwood Centre, Public Library, Season Retirement Home, Sheppard Family Park, and White Bull. So if you want a change in pace from all the garage sales, then come by and see what we have to offer.
