Notice of Bylaw: 4633/2024 Aquatics Expansion Borrowing Bylaw
Pursuant to the Municipal Government Act, Revised Statutes of Alberta, 2000, Chapter M-26, as amended, Council for the Town of High River intends to proceed with Bylaw 4633/2024 being the Aquatics Expansion Borrowing Bylaw.
The passing of Bylaw 4633/2024 (Aquatics Expansion Borrowing Bylaw) authorizes the Town to borrow an amount not exceeding $14 million for the purpose of financing the expansion of the Aquatics Centre as approved by Council in its meeting of July 8, 2024.
Bylaw 4633/2024 may be viewed online and at the Town of High River Office, located at 309B Macleod Trail SW, High River, Alberta.
Residents who wish to file a petition against this proposed bylaw must follow the guide prepared by the Government of Alberta, located on the Petition Information for Electors webpage.

When to Call Municipal Enforcement?
When calling Municipal Enforcement to report a concern, please ensure you provide full contact information and occurrence details to assist Peace Officers in investigating your concern. Any call of a non-urgent matter will be addressed on the next available day/shift.
Call Municipal Enforcement for the following:
- Have a concern or complaint regarding a general bylaw matter (parking, unsightly property, noise, sidewalk snow removal etc.)
- Have an animal control concern that is non-aggressive in nature (animal at large, contained animal, nuisance barking)
