Facility & Operational Closures for August Long Weekend
HIGH RIVER – Town of High River facilities will be closed on Monday, Aug. 3, 2026, in observance of the civic holiday.
There will be no changes to garbage collection during the August long weekend.
The following facilities will be closed:
- Town Hall
- Family and Community Support Services (FCSS)
- Greater Foothills Family Centre
- Public Works Administration Office
- Fire & RCMP Administration Offices
- Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex
- High River Recycling Centre
Essential services, including the Fire Department and RCMP, will remain available. In an emergency, always call 9-1-1.
The Town of High River wishes everyone a safe and enjoyable long weekend.
