Town of High River Facility and Operational Closures for Easter Long Weekend

HIGH RIVER - Spring has sprung! Here are Town facility closures for the Easter long weekend. Please note the following closures, and schedule for the Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex below:

Closed on Friday, March 29 and Monday, April 1:

  • Town Hall (Joint Administration Building)
  • Greater Foothills Family Center
  • Family and Community Support Services (FCSS)
  • Public Works
  • Recycling Center
  • RCMP Administration Office
  • Fire and Protective Services Administration Office

These closures will not impact essential Services such as the Fire Department and RCMP. In the event of an emergency, always call 9-1-1.

Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex long weekend schedule:

  • Friday, March 29 (Good Friday): Closed
  • Saturday, March 30: Open 6:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
    • Easter Candy Hunt from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon (more below!)
  • Sunday, March 31 (Easter Sunday): Open 6:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
  • Monday, April 1 (Easter Monday): Open 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

    Please note: On Wednesday, April 3, the Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex's aquatic facility will be closed for maintenance from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.

    Easter Candy Hunt | Saturday, March 30, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

    Explore in and around the Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex through hints and puzzles to create your Easter candy basket! After your candy hunt, enjoy family fun in the Cargill Field House. Please bring a basket with you! Attendance is free. People attending are encouraged to bring a Jumpstart or a Food Bank Donation.
