On Thursday, June 5 at 9am there is a FREE leather workshop for seniors at the High River Seniors Friendship Centre as it is Seniors Week. There are four spots left and you need to register with the Seniors Centre Office at hrseniorscentre@shaw.ca. This will be held in our back cardroom at 504-7 Street SW in High River. Candice King from Tandy Leather will be the instructor and she will be showing us how to dye and stamp the leather in the morning. You need to bring your own lunch and we will eat while the leather is drying. Then in the afternoon we will be putting the project together. There will be a choice of two things of either a change purse or a toy bull. Once your project is done then you will be able to take it home. This should be over at 2pm. This will be first come first serve on the four remaining spots for seniors so if you are interested get back to the Senior Friendship Centre office asap.
