Town Facility Closures and Garbage Collection Schedule for Remembrance Day 2025

HIGH RIVER – Town of High River offices and facilities will be closed on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, in observance of Remembrance Day. Town flags will be at half-mast on Tuesday, November 11, to commemorate the sacrifices of members of the armed forces and of civilians in times of war.
Regular meetings of Town Council will continue as normal on Monday, November 10, 2025. Council meeting agendas and livestream information are available on the Town’s iCompass portal.
Tuesday, November 11, 2025, Garbage Collection:

In observance of Remembrance Day on November 11, 2025, Tuesday’s garbage collection will be picked up on Monday, November 10, 2025. Please have your bins our by 7:00 AM and leave them in place until collection occurs. The Recycling Centre will be closed on November 11, 2025, and will re-open on November 12 at 8:00 AM.

Recycling Centre
Emergency services such as the Fire Department and RCMP are not affected. In an emergency always call 9-1-1.
