Facility and Operational Closures for Labour Day, September 2, 2024
HIGH RIVER – All Town of High River facilities will be closed for Labour Day on Monday, September 2, 2024. There will be no changes to garbage collection during the Labour Day Weekend.
Facility Closures Include:
- Town Office
- Family and Community Support Services
- Family Centre
- Operations
- Bylaw/Municipal Enforcement
- Recycling Centre
- Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex
All facilities will reopen for normal business hours on Tuesday, September 3, 2024.
Essential Services: Essential services, including the Fire Department and RCMP, will remain open. In case of emergency, always call 9-1-1.
Recycling Centre: The Recycling Centre will be closed on Labour Day and will resume regular hours on Tuesday, September 3. For more information, visit highriver.ca/recycling.
Labour Day Tribute: To commemorate Labour Day, the Joint Admin Building will be illuminated with white lights.
A reminder that the Aquatics Facility at the Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex will be closed from August 30 to September 3 due to ongoing work on the Aquatics Facility Expansion Project.
