Recreation Operations for Alberta’s “Open for Summer” Plan – Stage 2

HIGH RIVER – The Town of High River is reviewing the Provincial announcement regarding Alberta’s Open for Summer Plan. While some additional restrictions apply, province-wide restrictions reduce as of Thursday, June 10. For more information as Alberta enters into stage 2 opening, visit us here.
A planned opening date for the Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex is set for Monday, June 14th (dependent on Provincial guidelines.) Operations will resume for limited hours with pre-bookings. The re-open plan will follow all current guidelines.
At this time, the following registration and opening schedule will be:
June 7th – Day Camp schedule and registration begins at noon.
June 10th – Public registration for walking track and the pool begins at noon (June 14-20).
June 10th – The Spray Park will be open regular hours and operate under current guidelines.
June 14th – The Field House (user groups), pool and walking track will be open for users.
June 16th – Public registration for pool begins at noon (June 21-26).
June 21st – Swimming lessons will start.
The following will be the Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex’s hours of operation:
Monday – Friday: 9:00am – 9:30pm (Pool opens at 9:00am and walking track at 10:45am)
Saturday – Sunday: 11:00am – 5:00pm
The following will be the Spray Park hours until June 30:
Fridays
- 2:00pm – 4:00pm
- 5:00pm – 7:00pm
Saturdays & Sundays
- 11:00am – 1:00pm
- 2:00pm – 4:00pm
- 5:00pm – 7:00pm
