Street Sweeping Schedule for Spring 2022
HIGH RIVER – Street sweeping is scheduled to start in the middle of April due to a relatively mild spring this year.
Boulevards, Islands, and Bridge cleaning will commence the last week of March, with residential street sweeping running from April 19 through the end of May.
Signs will be placed on the shoulder of the roads when crews are working in residential areas. We ask residents to please obey all street signs and remain a safe distance from crews as they clean our streets.
The schedule for street sweeping this year will be as follows
- April 19-22, working in the Northwest.
- April 25-29, working in the Montrose, SE/NE Central and Emerson Lake areas.
- May 2-6, working in Southwest.
- May 9-13, working in the Hamptons and Sunshine Lake areas.
Any debris missed due to cars not moving will be cleaned up in the same rotation as the initial sweep when crews return to the area.
We ask that you do not sweep the front of your house and place the sand loosely in your garbage bins. This causes extreme wear and tear on our compactor, causing downtime we cannot afford to take.
If you feel the need to clean in front of your house, we ask you to sweep it into a pile on either side of your driveway and let the street sweeper do the rest.
