Town Facility Closures for Thanksgiving 2024
HIGH RIVER – Town of High River offices and facilities will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday on Monday, October 14. There are no changes to the garbage collection schedule. Town facilities re-open with normal hours on Tuesday, October 15.
Emergency Services are not affected by these closures. In an emergency, always call 9-1-1.
To observe the Thanksgiving holiday, the regular meetings of Town Council are moved to Tuesday, October 15. A Council Budget Discussion will take place on October 15 from 10 am – 12 noon in Council Chambers. Council’s regular meetings will also take place on the afternoon of Tuesday, October 15. Committee of the Whole meets at 1:00 pm and the Regular Meeting of Council will begin at 3:00 p.m. All three meetings will be live-streamed and recorded on YouTube. - Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex
- FCSS Resource Centre
- Public Works and the Recycle Centre
- Fire Administration
- RCMP Administration
- The Greater Foothills Family Centre
