Heritage Inn International Balloon Glow

Experience an evening unlike any other as towering balloons light up the night in stunning bursts. While you await sunset, grab dinner from a lineup of local food trucks, and dance along to our DJ. As dusk arrives, pilots and crews will inflate their vibrant balloons.  

When the “go” signal is given, everyone will be invited to get up close to the balloons to feel the warmth of the burners, hear the whoosh of the flames, and witness balloons glowing against the night sky. It’s a breathtaking spectacle that will have you counting down to next year.

• Date: Friday, September 26, 2025
• Time: 5:00 PM–9:00 PM (weather permitting)
• Location: Wallaceville Glow Site (map below)
• Admission: FREE — no tickets required
• Food: A wide variety of food trucks on site 

Road Closures & Parking (Glow Night Only): 

• Centre Street from Sobeys to High Country Drive will be closed from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
• Park at High River CO-OP (grocery) or the High River Rodeo Grounds and hop on our convenient free shuttles to the Glow site.
• Accessible Parking: Limited accessible stalls are available on 1st Street NE (a valid permit is required). 

The Town of High River Emergency Command Centre will be stationed west of the stage during the balloon glow. If you are missing someone or have lost a family member, we are here to help. Come see us at the ECC trailer.
