Pre-party Planning
It’s time to plan your Community Block Party! First things first:
- BOOK YOUR COMMUNITY BLOCK PARTY
- If a road closure is required, fill out a SPECIAL EVENTS FORM
- BLOCK PARTY TRAILER PRIVATE PROPERTY AGREEMENT - needs to be filled out & uploaded with a reservation request

What is the cost of using the Block Party Trailer?
We are pleased to offer the Community Block Party Trailer free of charge.
Where is the Block Party Trailer located?
The Community Block Party Trailer is located in the east parking lot at the Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex (BSRC).
Do I need to provide propane?
The Community Block Party Trailer is a community asset and is loaned out using the honor system. Propane tanks should be full upon pick-up and we kindly ask that they be filled by the user upon return. Propane will be purchased at the user’s expense.
Where and when do I pick up the Block Party keys?
Keys for the Community Block Party Trailer are provided upon successful completion of all required paperwork. Arrangements for key pick-up and return will be coordinated no more than two days in advance of the booking and can be picked-up at the Customer Service desk in the BSRC.
How can I partner with the Community Block Party Trailer?
The Community Block Party Trailer is a wonderful resource for our community and we are pleased to offer it free of charge to any High River resident that would like to bring their neighbors together to meet, have fun and make meaningful connections! Does my vehicle insurance cover the trailer while in transport?
Regulations state that when transporting a trailer the liability coverage on the towing vehicle automatically extends to the towed vehicle. This is the case as long as the towing vehicle is insured according to provincial minimums (third party liability or commonly referred to as PLPD).
