Aquatics Facility Expansion: Integrating Public Input into Design

The Town of High River Council is moving forward with an aquatics facility expansion design that incorporates feedback from Council, the Design Working Group, and the public.
During a Regular Meeting of Council on November 27, a design was approved that includes additional private change stalls, deck shower access for post swim rinses, and open shower access within the aquatics lobby area.
Back in October, Town Administration hosted an Open House to gather feedback on three change room design options. The design Council approved incorporated much of the feedback and the design now features additional private stalls with showers and additional measures for improved safety and security in the aquatics lobby area.
Town Administration will continue to update Council and the public on all design updates and cost implications.
