Update – Friday, March 31:
Work to install telecommunications in the back lane of 4 Avenue SW and 5 Avenue SW will continue Monday, April 3.
Partial lane closures will be in effect during the weekend. Residents are asked to obey all signage in the area.
During working hours on Monday, a full lane closure will be in effect in the back lane of 4 Avenue SW and 5 Avenue SW.

Crew to Install Telecommunications in Back Lane of 4 & 5 Avenue SW – March 27 to 31
HIGH RIVER – Construction crews will install telecommunication in the back lane of 4 Avenue SW and 5 Avenue SW between March 27 & 31.
A back lane closure will be in effect for the duration of this project, and vehicles will not be able to pass.
A complete list of details is below:
- When: Monday, March 27 to Friday, March 31. Between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.
- Where: Back lane downtown between 4 Avenue and 5 Avenue SW. See map for details.
- What: Closure of a section of the east-to-west direction in the back lane. Traffic will be able to pass through in the North to South direction.
- Why: Installation of telecommunication services
Residents are asked to obey all signage in the area and watch out for workers and equipment during working hours.
