Crews to Complete Paving of Centre Street in Two Phases
HIGH RIVER – Crews are set to begin paving Centre Street in Two phases, beginning with Centre Street between 2nd Ave to 4th Ave on Tuesday, August 30.
Following this paving, the crew will move down Centre Street and complete the second paving phase. The second phase will be located between 4th Ave and 7th Ave and will take place on Wednesday, August 31.
During paving, the mentioned sections of Centre Street will be closed to the public for 24 hours (7 a.m. to 7 a.m.). Detour signs will be in place.
Some preparation work will take place on Monday, August 29. A road closure will not be associated with the preparation work, and crews will direct traffic around the work as needed.

- When: Monday, August 29 to Wednesday, August 31.
- Where: This project will be completed in two different phases, with preparation work occurring in advance.
- Preparation work: August 29 – Centre Street from 2nd Ave to 7th Ave. No closure will occur during this work.
- Phase 1: August 30 – Centre Street from 2nd Ave to 4th Ave. Blue in the below map.
- Phase 2: August 31 – Centre Street from 4th Ave to 7th Ave. Red in the below map.
- Why: Paving of Centre Street.
- What: 24-hour road closure on Centre Street from 2nd Ave to 4th Ave and 4th Ave to 7th Ave.
