Facility and Operational Closures for August Long Weekend
HIGH RIVER – Town of High River facilities will be closed for the Civic Holiday on Monday, August 4, 2025. Please note, there will be no changes to garbage collection for the August Long Weekend.
Facility Closures Include:
- Town Office
- Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) Resource Centre
- Greater Foothills Family Centre
- Public Works Administration Office
- Fire & RCMP Administration Offices
- Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex
- High River Recycling Centre
Essential Services such as the Fire Department and RCMP will remain open. In an emergency, always call 9-1-1.
The Recycling Centre will be closed on Monday, August 4. It will open for regular hours on Tuesday, August 5. Further information can be found at highriver.ca/recycling.
