HIGH RIVER – Every spring, High River Parks staff places beautiful hanging baskets and floral arrangements throughout High River’s parks as well as in planters in the downtown and at the Library. Included in the plantings are edible plants such as cherries, currents and crabapples as well as herbs and vegetables located in the planters.
These edible plants are available to all. With the changing of the seasons, harvest has arrived in High River. The edible plants grown this year are, or soon will be, ready to pick. Everyone in the Town are welcome to enjoy the edible plants.
