Heartland Filming in High River November 2 - 4

The Town of High River is proud to be a film-friendly community and once again will be the preferred destination for a major production.

Filming will occur in various locations throughout Town beginning on Tuesday November 1. This major production will involve filming scenes with loud noises, including gunfire over the next few days.

View filming traffic impacts below:

• Tuesday, November 1, starting at 6pm (overnight) – November 4 at 7PM
  • Film crews will be parking in the gravel lot behind Museum of the Highwood, and the downtown gravel lot
• Wednesday, November 2, 8am – 7pm
  • Parking at Maggie’s diner will be impacted – please watch for traffic and pedestrian controls on 3^rd Avenue and drive carefully in the area
• Thursday, November 3, 8am – 7pm
• Carlsons building on the corner of 3^rd Avenue and Macleod St
• Friday, November 4, 8am – 7pm
  • Parking at Maggie’s diner will be impacted – please watch for traffic and pedestrian controls on 3^rd Avenue and drive carefully in the area

Residents are asked to keep their distance from the production and remain patient while filming occurs. Support from residents is greatly appreciated and maintains High River's status as a preferred film destination.

The Town will continue to provide updates on film locations and temporary traffic detours as the production continues.
