Lemonade Day is Coming to High River on August 19 – Register Now

Calling all youth! High River is partnering with Lemonade Day Calgary for a free community-wide educational program designed to teach youth how to start, own and operate their own business through a lemonade stand.
Upon registering, youth can access the Lemonade Day curriculum which walks them through everything they need to know to start their lemonade business. Parents or guardians work through the curriculum together with youth to make a plan, build a stand, and execute their business on Lemonade Day.
Lemonade Day is open to youth of all ages. The curriculum is written to target youth from grades K – 8.
Youth will learn the entrepreneurial skills necessary to be successful in the future and become contributing members of their communities. They learn how to create a budget, set profit-making goals, serve customers, repay investors and give back to the community.
The money made at each stand on Lemonade Day belongs to the youth participants who operate that stand. All of what they make is their business profit. The Lemonade Day curriculum encourages them to spend some, save some, and share some.
Give kids the opportunity to learn valuable business skills through real-life experience.
