Town of High River Peace Officers Officially Certified to Conduct Bike Patrols

HIGH RIVER – Multiple Town of High River community Peace Officers have officially received certificates for bike patrol training.

Bike patrol training gives our community Peace Officers the necessary skills and safety equipment to conduct bike patrols within High River.

This training will also provide the community Peace Officers with the following:

  • Ability to be more visible and approachable on the Town’s Happy Trail System.
  • Hard-to-reach areas become more accessible.
  • Provide enhanced safety along the Highwood River and Town pathways.
  • Provide in-person education and enforcement on offences observed by officers or reported to the Protective Services department.

Our community Peace Officers take pride in their ability to serve and protect our one-of-a-kind Town.

If you see one of our Peace Officers around Town, please say hi and ask any questions you may have.
